One more brief note, we've started our fundraising campaign for our summer mission trip. 80% of our cost this year will be going to construction materials for the homes we'll be working on on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico August 1-6. I've also just found out we'll be helping to lead a children's day camp while we're there. This is a fantastic opportunity for the 26 youth and sponsors that are going. If you're interested in sponsoring a student or making a gift to help this trip please let me know. Erik
On a personal note, I was inspired by a Pastor I heard talking about The Great Commission at the end of Matthew (28:16-20) and have been trying to focus more on relational ministry in these past few months. For those of you who have been open to this I’ve really enjoyed growing together and learning from you.I’d love to meet you where you are, where ever that may be.Tell me about a big game, a play or recital and I’ll be there, or let’s go grab lunch sometime. It’s been pretty amazing to see the ways that God is working in people’s lives and I want to be there for you in the good times and bad.Know that you’re all in my prayers and, even if we haven’t spoken in awhile, I’m thinking of you.
