Women's Group News: The Mount of the Holy Cross Women's group is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, fun and spiritual growth with the women of MHC. We meet once a month for a variety of events and would love you to join. If you have any questions about any of these events please contact the church office at (970) 476-6610.
Friday, March 12—Women’s Group Ski Day Meet at the Vista Bahn at Vail, at 10am. RSVP to the church office, 476-6610
Do you need a lift?? A little cheering up this long winter season? Then please join us! After we enjoy a wonderful potluck lunch, we will gather together and talk :) and you will receive a special gift from each other! (It’s Confidence Cards and it will be something you treasure all year long!)

And about our Annual Hut Trip . . . We are trying something different this year! We are booked at Sylvan Lake State Park in Eagle in the large cabin that sleeps 12 people! The dates are Sunday & Monday, April 25 & 26. (There’s a minimum 2 night stay). We can drive right to the cabin and will ski and snowshoe from there. Book study yet to be determined. Please RSVP to the church office if you can come ~ even if it’s for one night or just part of Sunday!
Creating a Sacred Space . . . Just as good nutrition and exercise are part of how you care for your body, a personal sacred space for prayer, meditation, and spiritual thought can be a part of your spiritual self-care that enriches and supports your regular worship within a community of faith.
“Sacred Spaces” ( a booklet you can download from www.womenoftheelca.org) provides a helpful framework for creating personal sacred space. You will learn how to select and create your sacred space, set aside and dedicated to your growth and/or healing, whether that space is in a whole room, a quiet corner of a room, or your garden.
